I found a Novell document that suggests I install the PO to a different folder, but it does the same thing. The document also suggests that I start the MTA against the domain, but the installation hasn't gone far enough yet to allow that to happen. What I was suggesting makes it just like when you install Win9x, copy all the cab files to the HDD and then edit the registry to point to that location. A normal user can't really install a linux distro himself without a bit of effort, so the chances are that someobody will have done it for him, show him which application to use, and that's it. OS/2 installation question
The system wouldn't see them as bootable cds so wouldn't try. luckily the toshiba had a floppy drive(IBM did not) so I could install on the toshiba. However, SuSE 7.3(at the time) booted & installed fine for some reason. I think I was using potato CDs at the time not woody. but once your over the first hurdle of
