There are some notes on that in the INSTALL docs. Be warned that there are still open issues with the partitioning tool, but if you stick to the partitions you've already made, that shouldn't be a problem. The big hurdle is that the install kernel has no support for interpreting HFS partitions, to read the sets.

Merlin Install: Rough going but...
Almost completed install, I receive error that "Specified Reporting Services Report server http://crmbox was not found" All other system checks pass OK. On previous screen the option to install new reporting services server was grayed out, otherwise I would imagine the install would continue OK.

Was the place where you saved the project on a network drive? mark Yes, it's stored on the S:\Temp folder. When it first installed, I couldn't create a new project at all. How high is hurdle? It would depend obviously. But the interest for Linux (outside of computer geeks) is very small.
